I've got a name for your football team

I'll keep it brief: After 82 years, the Washington Redskins are just now facing pressure to change their name. I'll be right back.



 Two things of note:

1) Of all the problems facing the Native American community--poverty, alcohol abuse, etc--I suspect the name of a football team is damn near the bottom.

2) This is not about Native American sensibilities; this is about American Liberal sensibilities. More specifically: White American Liberal sensibilities.

Added: Iowahawk is on it. Of course!

Let's get rid of all references to Native Americans and rename them the Washington Elizabeth Warrens.
